The inspiration behind our unique gilets
The gilet has become an essential part of our wardrobes. But, I don't go hunting, and I don't want to look like a farmer on my morning commute into London, which seemed to be the only gilets on the market. There are the padded shiny shell polyester puffer gilets; I like those, but they don't tick the stylish box. The Nehru gilet, mostly worn in Pakistan or India, gives a bit of decoration, but made for a sweltering hot climate – again, not so great in South West London. So, I decided to design and make a couple of sleeveless gilet jackets built for our lovely, variable weather here in the UK whether (no pun intended) worn to the office, to a wedding or just walking the dog, but with a bit more swagger.
Our secret to style and comfort

We focus on natural fibres like wool, lined with 100% cotton, ensuring no polyester plastic.
